Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are to be submitted by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by March 4th, 2016. After March 5th, 2016 registration fees are not refundable.

Martha Peace (General Session Speaker)
Martha was born, raised, and educated in and around the Atlanta area. She graduated with honors from both the Grady Memorial Hospital School of Nursing 3 year diploma program and the Georgia State University 4 year degree program. She has thirteen years work experience as a Registered Nurse, specializing in pediatric burns, intensive care, and coronary care. She became a Christian in June, 1979. Two years later, Martha ended her nursing career and began focusing her attention on her family and a ladies’ Bible study class. For five years she taught verse-by-verse book studies. Then she received training and certification from the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC). NANC was started by Dr. Jay Adams for the purpose of training and certifying the training of men and women as biblical counselors. (NANC has had a name change and is now known as ACBC, which stands for Association of Certified Biblical Counselors)
She is a gifted teacher and exhorter. She worked for eight years as a biblical counselor at the Atlanta Biblical Counseling Center, Georgia. For the past several years she has presented workshops on various biblical counseling issues for women at the national conference for NANC. She also instructed for 6 years at Carver Bible Institute and College in Atlanta where she taught women’s classes including “The Excellent Wife,” “Raising Kids Without Raising Cain,” “Introduction to Biblical Counseling,” “Advanced Biblical Counseling,” “Personal Purity,” and “The Book of Esther.” Martha has authored a workbook, Raising Kids Without Raising Cain, and books entitled The Excellent Wife, The Study Guide to The Excellent Wife, Becoming a Titus 2 Woman, Tying the Knot Tighter (co-authored with her Pastor, John Crotts), Damsels In Distress, and a parenting book co-authored with Stuart Scott entitled The Faithful Parent.
Martha is active with her family in Faith Bible Church, which is located just outside Peachtree City, Georgia. Martha has been married to her high school sweetheart, Sanford Peace, since September 24th of 1966 and they have two children
Carlynn Fabarez (Seminar Speaker)
Carlynn is married to Mike, the founding/senior pastor of Compass Bible Church, Aliso Viejo. She and Pastor Mike have worked together in the local church for 30 years. Carlynn is an alumnus of UC Irvine, Moody Bible Institute, and the University of Arizona and has a degree in Elementary Education. She was a school teacher for many years but now she teaches God’s word and mentors the women/staff wives in her church. She is a gifted communicator who effectively encourages all women to be both hearers and doers of God’s Word. In her spare time, she likes to golf, read, and spend time with her family. Pastor Mike and Carlynn have been married for 29 years and have 3 children.
Carolyn McGuire (Seminar Speaker)
Carolyn McGuire grew up in the Midwest as the daughter of an evangelical pastor. As a teen she developed a strong desire to learn how God’s Word could help people with their life problems. After High School she attended Moody Bible Institute where she met her husband, Joe. They were married in 1966, and they have four grown children who have given them 12 precious grandchildren. When her youngest daughter went to college, Carolyn also attended the Master’s College where she earned her Master’s degree in Biblical Counseling. In 2005, she received her certification as a biblical Counselor with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors. Carolyn has been faithfully serving the Lord through counseling women at both Placerita Bible Church and Grace Community Church for the past twenty-four years. God has given her a heart of compassion for women who are hurting and she loves nothing more than to be able to point them to God’s answers in His Word.
